The University Annual Sports Day was held on Friday, 14th October 2022 at the Chancellor’s Court. This is a day when the university community get to engage in sporting activities together, appreciate talents and defend championships.
Sports for competition include: Football, Basketball, Rugby and Volleyball, Handball, Swimming, Athletics, Badminton, Scrabble, Chess, Darts, Creative games and Tug-of-War.
On the 22nd September 2022 two library staff attended an informal DSpace users meeting
In this digital era, it is easier looking up a word in online dictionary rather than the traditional paper dictionary where the user is required to turn several pages to find a specific word.
The Library has subscribed to the Online Oxford English Dictionary to promote understanding of English words and terms for seamless learning.

LIBRARY INNOVATION FOR REPLICATION BY THE UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI DEPARTMENTS
The Faculty of Agriculture (FOA) organized this year’s tree planting event which took place at the Upper Kabete field station moor on 13th May 2022. In total 2000 seedlings were planted. The library was represented by 14 members of staff led by the Deputy Director of Planning (DDP) Mr. George Nyalwal.
On May 10, 2022, the Library hosted representatives from Snapplify, an ed-tech (educational technology) company, specializing in digital education content, and other related educational services. Snapplify is an ebook aggregator and distributor, with an ebook offering of over 500,000 titles from more than 250 publishers.
The organization has worked with thousands of schools across Africa, offering them useful digital educational tools.
