The Library has organized its 9th Open Access & Academic Integrity week. This gives the Library an opportunity to interact with stakeholders for service feedback and to market its services. This is a university-wide occasion that aims to increase awareness on digital library and the importance of academic integrity to students, staff and other stakeholders.
Professor Adrian Wekulo Mukhebi donated two copies of his biography titled "The Climb to the Mountain Top: The Making of a Professor" to the Library & Information Services department on October 14th, 2022. Professor Mukhebi retired from UON Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, Department of Agricultural Economics.
He is currently a Professor Emeritus at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science & Technology.
The Library in collaboration with JOVE has organized for training/sensitization of the JOVE products. The JOVE team will visit the University of Nairobi on 26th, 27th and 28th October 2022 to demonstrate how the products work.
The University Annual Sports Day was held on Friday, 14th October 2022 at the Chancellor’s Court. This is a day when the university community get to engage in sporting activities together, appreciate talents and defend championships.
Sports for competition include: Football, Basketball, Rugby and Volleyball, Handball, Swimming, Athletics, Badminton, Scrabble, Chess, Darts, Creative games and Tug-of-War.

In this digital era, it is easier looking up a word in online dictionary rather than the traditional paper dictionary where the user is required to turn several pages to find a specific word.
The Library has subscribed to the Online Oxford English Dictionary to promote understanding of English words and terms for seamless learning.
