The school of business library held orientation for first year students in the bachelor of Commerce degree program on the 5th February 2021.A total of 281 students turned up.The program ran from 9am to 1pm.The students were divided into three groups.each comprising 100 students.

When on Campus
Joy town school for the mobility disabled is situated in Thika County. Both the primary and secondary schools have close to 200 students. The primary school is exclusively for the mobility disabled most of whom have cerebral palsy while the Secondary school is interpreted. The two schools were hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic when the Government ordered them to open.

As the University of Nairobi celebrates 50 years of academic excellence, the Library in collaboration with our electronic resource partner eKitabu, will host a virtual open day event on Thursday, the 3rd of December 2020.

In commemoration of UoN @50, the University of Nairobi Library has organized for online training for researchers and students on Zotero Referencing Tools, Remote access to E-core text books supplied by EKITABU, and OrCid, Google Scholar and Self-archiving research tools.
The training will be conducted online from 1st to 8th December 2020.
The Deputy Director, Administration on behalf of the Director, Library Services received new books donated by the Rattansi Educational Trust through the University of Nairobi Chancellor, Dr. Vijoo Rattansi.
The books were supplied by Educate Yourself Limited at a cost of Kshs.14.5 million. In attendance at the handover is the Deputy Director Administration, Mr. Harun Mugo, the Acquisitions Librarian, Mr. David Mulonzia, and other members of staff from the technical processing unit.
