The Director and the Deputy Director, Library & Information Services received books donation from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Research, Innovation & Enterprise (DVC RIE) Professor Madara Ogot. The locally authored books included four titles, totaling to nine volumes of books. The book titles of are as follows:
- Days of my life, by Ogot G. Akinyi
- My footprints on the sands of time, by Ogot Bethwell
- A history of Kisumu City (1901 – 2001), by Ogot Bethwell
- History of Nairobi (1899 – 2012): From a Railway Camp and Supply depot to a world class African Metropolis, by Ogot Bethwell and Ogot Madara
The donation was received on 15th April 2021 as part of celebrating the Library Open Week event conducted from 14th to 16th April 2021. The donated books will be invaluable in enhancing the library collection.
