2nd International Conference on Information & Knowledge Management (IKM, 2018)

The 2nd International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management was held on 21-24 August 2018 at the Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. The conference theme was “Transforming information and communication through digital media and technologies.”

International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples (9th August, 2018)

The Collins dictionary define indigenous people as people belong to the country in which they are found, rather than coming there or being brought there from another country. In Kenya the pastoralists, hunter-gatherers, as well as some fisher peoples and small farming communities are considered to be indigenous people.

International Day of Cooperatives (7th July, 2018)

A cooperative (also known as co-operative, co-op, or coop) is "an autonomous association of persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly-owned and democratically-controlled enterprise". The first Co-operative Society in Kenya was established in 1908 and it was a dairy Co-operative. Kenya always celebrates this Cooperative Day.
