UbuntuNet-Connect- LIBSENSE Repository workshop, Zanzibar, November 19-20, 2018

The Deputy Director in-charge of technical services and the Senior ICT Technologist attended the LIBSENSE workshop in Zanzibar. This workshop was an UbuntuNet-connect conference side event organized by Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR), WACREN (West and Central African Research and Education Network) and EIFL.

International Day for Tolerance (16th Nov, 2018)

We celebrate tolerance day today. It is a virtue that everyone should strive to have and practice it all the time. The word tolerance means having a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, beliefs, practices, racial or ethnic origins, etc., differ from one's own; freedom from bigotry.

Library receives promotional materials from University Health Services

On November 13th, 2018, the library was privileged to receive promotional materials from University health services to inform and sensitize student and staff on STDs and drug abuse, these materials included posters, condoms and fliers.
