During the biannual International Mau Mau Conference, organized by the Department of History and Archaeology, the library received a donation of two titles - "Mau Mau detainee" and "Kizuizini", from Mr. Joseph Muthee Murage, the author and former Mau Mau war veteran.

Library Department Exhibits during International Conference on Mau Mau (Oct 16-18, 2024)
The Department of History and Archaeology held its Biannual Mau Mau Conference, October 16th to 18th 2024, themed “Mau Mau; Transitions & Contours of the Postcolonial State.”
The Library department was invited to participate alongside other exhibitors.
In line with the Conference theme, the library mounted an exhibition showcasing resources from
1st Year's Online Orientation (Library Dept.)
This event will highlight library services, facilities, and access to academic information resources in both electronic and print format.
First-year students 2024/2025, as well as all other UoN students, are welcome to participate.
