University of Nairobi Library participates in International Open Access Week, 2016

The Library Department held a three days Open Access week from 26th to 28th October 2016. The event was observed in three colleges namely:

KLISC/EIFL WORKSHOP ON OPEN ACCESS POLICY FORMULATION IN IDENTIFIED KENYAN UNIVERSITIES (26/10/2016)

Kenya Libraries and Information Services Consortium (KLISC) in collaboration with Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL) and Commission of University Education (CUE) organized a one day workshop. The workshop was held at Panafric Hotel on 26th October 2016.

Joyful moment as Maktaba Welfare Association sends off recently retired Library staff

On Wednesday 19th October 2016, Maktaba Welfare Association held a send off event for five (5) Library staff who recently retired. Maktaba is a welfare association for the Librarians at the University of Nairobi.
