CAVS CONDUCTS TURNITIN ANTI-PLAGARISM SOFTWARE AND ORCID TRAINING FOR LECTURERS

The College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences (CAVS) library held training for lecturers on 12/4/2017 on Turnitin anti-plagiarism software. The college Librarian opened the session by sensitizing the lecturers on the University of Nairobi plagiarism policy. She pointed out the importance of all the lecturers going through the policy since among other issues, the policy defines what plagiarism is, how to detect it, levels of plagiarism, major and minor penalties taken for staff and students who plagiarize.

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS LIBRARY CONDUCTS ORIENTATION FOR FIRST YEAR MODULE 11, 2017/18 STUDENTS

1st Year’s Modulle11, School of Business students went through library orientation on Monday, 10th April 2017 from 11.30am to 1.00pm.

The students and the library staff assembled in Mwai Kibaki Library where they were addressed by the School librarian and Library staff before they were taken for the library tour.
