The training will provide an overview of the fundamentals of using OJS. At the end of the training, participants will know how to register with a journal for article submission, understand the editorial workflows, and have a general overview of how to manage OJS publishing for local UoN journals.

69th United Nations Habitat, World Bank, University Librarians Workshop (2025)

The 69th United Nations Habitat, World Bank, University Librarians Workshop was held at the United States International University (USIU) on the 28th of February, 2025. Mr. George Nyalwal represented the University of Nairobi on behalf of the Director of Library Services.

Mr. Nyalwal, the Deputy Director of Library Services and in charge of planning, presented a report on the state and progress of the University of Nairobi library, including efforts to migrate to the open-source KOHA library management system from V-Smart, a commercial system.
