The University of Nairobi Library held discussions with the Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR) on November 11, 2025, to explore opportunities for a knowledge management partnership. The engagement marked the beginning of structured discussions aimed at developing a comprehensive and mutually beneficial knowledge management system that will enhance the preservation, accessibility, and dissemination of knowledge resources across both institutions.

Monday, September 22, 2025, marked a memorable occasion for the Library Directorate and the Knowledge Ambassadors from the Faculty of Agriculture. Having officially graduated on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Chancellor’s Court, the ambassadors chose to celebrate their academic milestone by expressing gratitude to the Library Directorate for its unwavering support throughout their four-year journey.

In memory of the late Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o, who recently passed away at the age of 87, the library will be honoring his remarkable legacy and literary contributions to modern African literature.
