The University Press community is opening a wide variety of resources - books, and journals to support teaching, learning and scholarly research as community response to the coronavirus pandemic.
More than eighty (80) publishers have contributed information about those open or free access materials. Researchers can access the links, browse and sort the available information resources via a Google Sheet -

The Library fraternity/Maktaba family, led by the University Chaplain, Rev. Hosea Mitei, held a prayer meeting on 26/2/2020, at Jomo Kenyatta Memorial Library (JKML).

A delegation from India led by Ms. Dave Vibhavari Vijay, Honorable Minister of State, Women and Children Welfare, Education (Primary and Higher Education) and Pilgrimage Visited the new Library on February 14, 2020 .The Indian delegation, in company of the Chancellor, Dr. Vijoo Rattansi, and Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama inspected the development projects that have been funded by the Indian Government, key among them Mahatma Gandhi Graduate Library. The Graduate Library was refurbished courtesy of a 100M grant from the Indian government.
