International Day against Nuclear Tests (29th August, 2018)

It is scary how man has always struggled to create weapons meant to destroy their fellow human being. Since the Stone Age to this day man has struggled to keep himself safe from their fellow human beings by creating crude and explosive arms. However, the arrow, the rifle, and many other weapons cannot be measured by the power of the nuclear weapon.

The 2nd International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management was held on 21-24 August 2018 at the Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. The conference theme was “Transforming information and communication through digital media and technologies.”

International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples (9th August, 2018)

The Collins dictionary define indigenous people as people belong to the country in which they are found, rather than coming there or being brought there from another country. In Kenya the pastoralists, hunter-gatherers, as well as some fisher peoples and small farming communities are considered to be indigenous people.
