International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression (4th June, 2018)

The purpose of this day is to acknowledge the pain suffered by children throughout the world who are the victims of physical, mental and emotional abuse. Before embarking on this topic it is important to define a few terms that are related to this day. According to the Kenyan law “a child” means an individual who has not attained the age of eighteen years. Aggression refers to a range of behaviors that can result in both physical and psychological harm to oneself, others, or objects in the environment.
