On the 22nd September 2022 two library staff attended an informal DSpace users meeting at the ILRI campus in Nairobi.
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss and share knowledge about DSpace repositories, and in particular specific elements of our respective repositories, as well as table questions and experiences in an effort to learn from each another.
Amongst the attendees were participants from KALRO (Kenya Agriculture & Livestock Research Organization), KIPPRA (Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research & Analysis), University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University, KCA University, KRA, ILRI and UN.
Participant agreed to set up a steering committee to initiate a community of practice and also explore building a joint platform that will facilitate knowledge sharing across Kenyan DSpace repositories.
