Mahatma Gandhi Graduate Library is an ultra-modern facility that endeavors to provide quality academic information services and products to the University community specifically to postgraduate students at both Master’s and Doctoral levels as well as academic staff.
The provision of study carrels is one of the facilities offered at this library. Our study carrels provide a distraction-free environment for independent/private study.
Our study carrels are located on the third floor of the Library and are designed to be enclosed lockable cubicles, providing privacy and a quiet conducive atmosphere. Post-graduate students, as well as members of faculty, will find this particularly useful and convenient for their research and academic pursuits.
All carrels come fitted with power and data outlets; reliable wifi connectivity is also available. Users must register at the circulation desk where they will be allocated a carrel. Available carrels can be hired on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Who is eligible? – All post-graduate students, researchers, and faculty staff of the University of Nairobi.
