The Mombasa Campus Library hosted a visiting team from the Mombasa Law Courts Judiciary Library, comprising the Head Librarian and his Deputy. They were received by the Mombasa Campus Librarian in charge, Mr. Matthews Nyapela.
The objective of the visit was the implementation of a collaboration agreement between the Judiciary library services and the UoN Library and Information Services, which was executed on 6th April 2023. The guests exhaustively toured the Library, examined its equipment, materials, service procedures, and systems. Thereafter, they also toured the entire university facility, and called on the Associate Dean, Dr. Akunga Momanyi, who, together with the Faculty of Law lecturers, welcomed the team from the Judiciary library. Dr. Momanyi highlighted the importance of the collaboration between the Judiciary Library Services and UoN Library & Information Services. He encouraged the Mombasa Campus Library staff to expedite arrangements to visit the Judiciary library and get to learn and see how we can enhance our services based on their systems, innovations, and workflows.
