Retirement is an important milestone in any person’s life, marking the end of a long and fulfilling career.
On Thursday 6th July 2023, Library team lead by Maktaba Welfare joined their five (5) colleagues who are leaving service at the University this year. The colourful event was attended by Librarians from various Faculties and relatives of the retiring staff. The retiring staff were grateful particularly to the University for the opportunity they got to serve in the University and the conducive working environment that the university provided. They were in agreement that they registered growth in various aspects for the time they served at the university. Their colleagues in the Library wished them well as they begin a new phase in their lives.
