Library Open and Academic Integrity Week (April 22-24, 2026) is a university-wide celebration of the library as a hub for knowledge, innovation, and ethical scholarship. More than just an event, it is a call to action.
This year’s theme, “Our Knowledge, Our Voice: Navigating AI Together,” empowers students, faculty, and researchers to engage critically and responsibly with ethical research. Participants can explore library resources through on-site exhibitions at the Faculty of Law, Arts & Social Sciences, and Education, while interactive training sessions will be held virtually for the entire university community.
Virtual training events will include:
- Training on Access to Information Resources, and Capacity Building on PWD Facilities & Services – April 22nd
- Training on Leveraging AI to Advance Research in Academic Institutions – April 23rd
- Training on Publishing in High Impact Journals, and Ethical Issues in Research – April 23rd
- Training on Citation & Referencing Tools (Zotero & Mendeley) – April 24th
In-person activities will include:
- Academic Integrity Clinics: Personalized support for referencing, citations, and understanding plagiarism policies.
- Library Tours: Guided showcases of available resources and facilities.
