ProQuest Journals

The University of Nairobi through the Library department is pleased to announce the addition of a new multi-discplinary journal database to its collection. 

ProQuest Journals features scholarly journals, and professional journals in all the fields within social and political sciences with complete resources such as Criminal Justice Database, Education Database, Library Science Database, Linguistics Database, Political Science Database, Social Science Database, and Sociology Database.

Training on Access to Electronic & Print Information Resources

The objective of this training is to guide students and researchers on how to access the subscribed electronic books, journals, core textbooks and open access resources. 

The training will also cover remote access to these resources, as well as the use of OPAC (online public access catalogue) to identify relevant print information resources.

Students of all levels are welcome to participate.

Library holds Orientation for New Students (Sept 29, 2023)

The Director, Library & Information Services (LIS) led a team of Librarians in conducting a scheduled Library orientation for new in-take of undergraduate students of 2023/2024 academic year. The orientation event was hosted at LT101 on 1st floor of the University Of Nairobi Towers.  Over 700 new students admitted into various Courses in Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (FASS) and Faculty of Engineering attended the occasion.
