Library Recieves Books Donation from Ms. Anjali Bharat Shah & Dr. Parita Shah

The University of Nairobi Library is pleased to acknowledge and appreciate a generous donation of 20 books from Ms Anjali Bharat Shah on law, and 18 books (mostly novels) from Dr. Paritah Shah. The donated collection will enrich the University’s knowledge resources and support teaching, learning, and research.

This contribution reflects the community’s continued commitment and support to the University Library through philanthropy and partnership. Such acts of generosity go beyond the donation of books; they represent an investment in education, innovation, research, and the intellectual growth of society. Academic libraries remain central to knowledge creation and dissemination, and partnerships with well-wishers and development partners play a vital role in strengthening access to quality information resources.

The donated books will benefit students, faculty, researchers, and the wider university community by expanding access to current and diverse scholarly materials. In addition, such support contributes to the Library’s mission of promoting lifelong learning, academic excellence, and inclusive access to information.

The University of Nairobi Library sincerely thanks Bharat Shah and Paritah Shah for their generosity and continued support. Their contribution demonstrates how philanthropy and institutional partnerships can positively transform educational spaces and empower future generations through knowledge.
