The University of Nairobi wishes to inform all students who qualified for the award of various degrees and diplomas at the end of last academic year (2020/2021) and members of the public, as follows:
- DATE, VENUE & MODE
The 66th Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021. Commencing at 8.00 a.m. at the Great Court. The event will be VIRTUAL, streamed live on UoN’s Website - www.uonbi.ac.ke and Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/uonbi.ac.ke.
- REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION
ONLY those who will have satisfied all the academic requirements completed paying all the fees due to the University, and cleared of any disciplinary cases by November 17, 2021, will be allowed to graduate.
- CONFIRMATION OF NAMES
ALL graduands are advised to confirm the ORDER and SPELLING of their names with their respective Deans of Faculties. Use of initials will NOT be allowed.
- CLEARANCE
Each graduand will be required to obtain a Clearance Certificate from the relevant Faculty Registrar upon clearance with the respective Academic Department, Library, Halls of Residence, Games, and Finance Departments.
- PAYMENT OF CONVOCATION FEES
Each graduand will be required to pay a compulsory Graduation/Convocation fee of Kshs. 1,000/=. The Account details are as follows:
