East Africana Collection
This collection stocks materials on East Africa in general and Kenya in particular. The collection is enriched by postgraduate degree theses and dissertations of the University of Nairobi as well as other relevant material submitted elsewhere.
Archives & Audio-Visual Collection
This collection covers archival material relating to the history of the University of Nairobi, going back to the years when it was known as the Royal Technical College of East Africa with sister colleges in Tanzania and Uganda. The collection also includes archived newspapers as well as documents from the British colonial government going back to the early 1900s.
Here, you will have access to rare information material of great historical interest.
Reserve collection (Short-term loan collection)
This collection comprises books on high demand. As such, these books can only be loaned out for a limited time period of 24hrs to ensure wide usage.
