Project Gutenberg

Project Gutenberg is a library of over 60,000 free eBooks. Choose among free epub and Kindle eBooks, download them or read them online. You will find the world's great literature here, with focus on older works for which U.S. copyright has expired. Thousands of volunteers digitized and diligently proofread the eBooks, for enjoyment and education.

Open Book Publishers

Open Book Publishers was founded in 2008 by a small group of academics at the University of Cambridge. It offers online digital editions free of charge so that students, researchers and members of the public who cannot afford a printed edition can still have access to quality research.

Online Books

The Online Books Page is a website that facilitates access to books that are freely readable over the Internet. It also aims to encourage the development of such online books, for the benefit and edification of all. The site is hosted by the University of Pennsylvania Libraries. The online books listed on this page have been authored, placed online, and hosted, by a wide variety of individuals and groups throughout the world.
