The year 2026 marks a collaboration between the University of Nairobi, North-West University (NWU), and the University of Pretoria (UP) in South Africa, within the organizing framework to host the 4th edition of the International Conference on Information Literacy (ICIL-Africa).

CONFERENCE AIM
The ICIL-SA 2026 conference brings together researchers, LIS professionals, educators, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and explore current challenges.
SUBMISSION TYPES
- Individual papers and posters: Abstracts (max 300 words). Papers: 20 min + 10 min discussion.
- PechaKucha: 20 slides × 20 seconds (6:40 total).
- Doctoral forum: PhD research presentations with expert feedback.
- Panel discussions: 90-minute themed sessions (3–5 papers).
