The International Conference on Information Literacy (ICIL) is a biannual event bringing together researchers, library and information services professionals, and other related parties from around the world to exchange knowledge and experience, and to discuss recent developments and current challenges in both theory and practice.
The year 2026 marks a collaboration between the University of Nairobi, North-West University (NWU), and the University of Pretoria (UP) in South Africa, within the organizing framework to host the 4th edition of the International Conference on Information Literacy (ICIL-Africa).
