Library Receives Chair Donation from Kenya Education Network (KENET)

KENET which is housed at the University of Nairobi, Library donated 18 executive chairs which will be distributed to all College and School Libraries. Speaking during the handover ceremony the Director, LIS emphasized on the harmoniase co-relation between the two establishments and hopes that it will continue to grow. Also present were both the Deputy Directors for planning and technical services.

The Head of the KENET delegation Eric Sifuna ret orated that KENET with the assistance of the Library has come along way and will continue to assist the Library when possible, He was accompanied by Maureen Musau and  John Ngunyi.

KENET is licensed by the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) as a not-for-profit operator serving the education and research institutions. It  provides affordable, cost-effective and low-congestion Internet bandwidth services to member institution campuses in Kenya.
