Deputy Director, LIS addresses first year students for the 2017/2018 academic year at Orientation.

The Acting Deputy Director (Technical Services), Library and Information Services addressed over 4,000 first year students for the academic year 2017/2018. The orientation was conducted on 7th September 2017 at the University Great Court. In her address, the Deputy Director welcomed the new students in the University library system and sensitized them on library services and facilities.

The deputy director advised students to make best use of the library resources, especially the online electronic resources that can be accessed from anywhere in the world for learning and research. She stressed on the importance of registering with the library inorder to facilitate access to the various information resources. The Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs, Students Affairs and Research, production and Extension also attended the orientation.
